When Sanchez was starting for the Jets you hardly ever saw him throw it deep. Why? Well it's pretty simple, the Jets didn't trust him. Last week you saw Geno go deep for 2 TD's, one of which would turn out the be a game winner to Santonio Holmes. If the Jets continue to trust their QB, they will continue to improve offensively.
This past offseason the Jets signed Chris Ivory. Ivory was supposed to be the starter, but injuries and underperforming would hold him back, paving the way for Bilal Powell. Last week, with over 125 rushing, Powell made a statement game, showing that this could be a breakout season for him. Powell should play well this week against the Titans defense.
whILE THE DEFENSE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE STRONG SIDE DURING rEX rYAN'S TENURE AS HEAD COACH, IT HAS NEVER STARTED OFF QUITE THIS GOOD. The Jets have only allowed 3 TD's this season, 1 on the ground and 2 passing. They are the NFL's 3rd ranked defense behind Houston and the Seahawks, they also have only Allowed 39 first downs on Defense. This defense is playing outstanding, and if they keep it up, the Jets might be better then everybody thought. Including themselves.
