The Jets biggest area of need on the entire roster is cornerback. I expect Mike Maccagnan to go after a big fish at corner, possibly a guy like Cromartie or Revis. If he signs one of those type of guys, he should look for a sleeper to be the other starter. A former fourth round pick of Green Bay in 2011, Davon House would be a good signing and would not break the bank for the Jets. House was third on the depth chart in Green Bay this past season, but has flashed the potential of a good player. He has great size at 6'1 and has made 14 starts in his four seasons in Green Bay.
2) Darian Stewart, S, Baltimore Ravens
The Jets also really need help at the free safety position. After four seasons in St Louis, Stewart was a starter for Baltimore this past season. He recorded an interception in the regular season, and a key pick in the playoffs against Pittsburgh. He would give the Jets a major upgrade and be a starter day one in New York. He isn't Devin McCourty on the free agent market, but it wouldn't be an awful secondary option.
3) Stevan Ridley, RB, New England Patriots
This next guy is a much bigger question mark than the first two. Ridley played in 6 games in 2014 before tearing his ACL, but had been the Patriots starter the past couple of seasons. I think New England will make Vereen a bigger priority than Ridley. Only two years Ridley ran for over 1,200 yards and 12 touchdowns. The Patriots running back could make a nice duo with Chris Ivory if he comes back strong from his injury.
