Dustin missed a lot of the 2012 season, but when he is healthy he is Mark Sanchez's favorite target. When Dustin hits the open market he should receive all lot of big offers, just not from the Jets. Over his five seasons in New York, Keller has caught 241 passes and 17 touchdowns. He is a good player, just has somewhat underachieved after being a first round pick.
At tight end, the Jets may do a few things to replace Dustin. They may look in the mid-rounds of the draft, at a guy like Gavin Escobar. They also may look at some cheap free agents and pair them with Jeff Cumberland, who did a nice job replacing Keller last season. At the end of the day, Keller should be allowed to walk if his price tag is to high.
