Quinton Coples- Through two weeks of the preseason we have already seen just how good this 2012 Jets draft class can be. Quinton Coples, Jets first round pick, has been one of the best rookies through two games. He had a monster game against the Bengals, where he recorded a couple sacks and forced a fumble. In week two he had a sack and some nice tackles against the Giants. People have questioned his motor, but the kid is really performing right now. Everyone would love to see him step up in practice a little bit. With the rate he is going, I could see him with 7 sacks this season.
Antonio Allen- In the seventh round of the draft, the Jets picked Allen, a safety out of South Carolina. In the game against the Giants, he was all over the field, hitting hard and making plays. He is a former linebacker and loves to get up on the line of scrimmage. He may be one of the steals of the draft and could play a big impact in the secondary.
Jordan White- Also in the seventh round, the Jets got wide receiver Jordan White. White was very productive at Western Michigan, leading the FBS in catches. During OTA's, White fractured a bone in his foot and was forced to get surgery. Fully recovered he has performed well in the preseason. In the game against the Giants, White had three catches for 28 yards. He showed he adds some good depth at receiver with all the injuries. The Jets really did well in the seventh round with White and Allen.
Demario Davis- Ever since the draft, people have been saying the Jets got a steal in Demario Davis. Davis is a tackling machine and will be a huge player on special teams. In his debut against the Bengals he showed that, recording five tackles, including one for a loss. He was quiet against the Giants, but barely saw the field. He looks like a star in the making at the middle linebacking position.
