Khan is the the director of business and football administration for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since 2001, Khan has been the Cap guy for pittsburgh and is known for assembling good teams around salary cap. While you may be saying that he is Tannenbaum all over again, Khan is better respected around the league than Tannenbaum was. Khan also is very close with former Steelers coach Bill Cowher, which is fueling speculation that he could be the next Jets coach if Khan becomes he the general manager and they struggle in 2013.
The biggest reason for me wanting Khan is because the other two names would be horrible for the Jets. Scott Cohen has been the Jets assistent General manager and was close with Mike Tannenbaum. Although he really impressed in his interview, the Jets need to get away from that era of their franchise. Jerry Angelo was a general manager for the Bears for 10 seasons, but failed to win a ring. Although he wouldn't be awful, Khan is a younger and better option for the Jets.
