I am not going to sit here and call Dee Milliner a bust. Through nine games however, he has struggled and looked lost at times. Against the Bengals, he was lit up by Marvin Jones and has been benched twice by Rex. Against the Saints however he showed his potential and showed could continue to improve.
1st Round, 13th Overall, Sheldon Richardson- A+
When Sheldon Richardson was selected by Idzik, a lot of fans had no idea who he was. Idzik has made us look silly, as he has been amazing. The defensive end has dominated, recording 2.5 sacks, 41 tackles, and a forced fumble. He has been terrific against the run and looks like a star for the Jets.
2nd Round, 39th Overall, Geno Smith- A-
Geno hasn't been amazing, but for getting him in the second round, he has been great. Geno has shown the clutch gene through nine games, leading four game winning drives or fourth quarter comebacks. Geno has thrown for 1,997 yards, 8 touchdowns (3 on the ground), and 13 interceptions. Geno has been great this season and has shown serious tools.
3rd Round, 72nd Overall, Brian Winters- B-
After not starting the year as a starter, Winters took over for Vlad Ducasse after a few games. He has started the past five games for the Jets at guard, and has been pretty good. There have been times he has beaten badly for a sack, but there has also been times he shows he can play.
5th Round, 141st Overall, Oday Aboushi- Incomplete
6th Round, 178th Overall, Will Campbell- Incomplete
7th Round, 215th Overall, Tommy Bohanon- A-
In the last round of the draft, John Idzik found a guy who could be their fullback for a long time. Through their nine games, Tommy Bohanon has shown great blocking, an ability to catch the ball, and an ability to get carries if needed. He has 50 rushing yards on 15 carries, and 7 catches for 55 yards.
