Could Clifton replace Hunter?
Chad Clifton was released in the Spring by the Packers after a failed physical. He had offseason back surgery, but it seems like he could be making a comeback. Chad is a two time pro-bowler and has started 159 games in the NFL. Clifton is heading up to New England for a physical, and if healthy could sign with them. Clifton is a veteran and could be a viable candidate to take over at right tackle for the Jets. The Jets cannot sit back and let the Patriots sign Clifton. Unless they have Kareem McKenzie or Vernon Carey on the phone, the Jets must sign Chad Clifton if healthy.
