Braylon and Sanchez had great chemistry
Even after the selection of Stephen Hill, there are still rumors swirling that the Jets might sign former Jet Braylon Edwards. I know the stats are good, 28 games, 88 catches, 11 touchdowns in 2 seasons. Then there is the bad, many dropped balls, a DUI, and a nightclub incident. Braylon and Mark Sanchez had great chemistry, but they just don't need him. Last season he only played in nine games because of injury, and was limited to 15 catches. His personality is a problem, because he always wants the ball and probably wouldn't accept being the third receiving option for the Jets. The Jets just drafted Stephen Hill, a big, very talented receiver. What type of message would signing another receiver send to him? The Jets do have depth at receiver, with guys like Jeremy Kerley, Chaz Schilens, Patrick Turner, and Jordan White. I know some fans really want Braylon, but it just makes zero sense.
