4. Either don't use Tebow, or make sure you use him correctly. Last week the Jets used Tebow in designed run plays, a play I don't believe will work with him. Last year Tebow got his big runs when he was dropping back to pass out of the shotgun and found a hole. In order for him to be effective the must use him to his strengths.
3. Slow the game down, run the ball. Last week the Jets threw a pass on the seasons first play. That pass set the tone for what the Jets offense would do that day. Today I would like the Jets to run the ball more often and slow the game down. Maybe use Joe Mcknight for some plays due to his great speed. I would also like to see Kerley run the wildcat a little.
2. Get to Big Ben. The Jets cannot allow Big Ben to scramble out of the pocket. They have to bring him down early and put pressure on him. Because of his size he is hard to tackle so the Jets must make sure they are relentless in their pursuit of rushing.
1. Forget about Revis. I know it's hard to forget about your best player, one of the NFL's most dominant players. But the Jets really have no choice. They have 2 stellar CB's in Chromartie and Kyle Wilson as well as the unproven Ellis Lankster. Those 2 guys are better then most tandems of starting CB's on any NFL team and the Jets need to stop focusing on what the lost and start realizing what they have.
