Though the patriots offense is still great, Rob Gronkowski has been the sole reason the Patriots have beaten the Jets the past two seasons. He is big, fast, and no Jet player can guard him. The Patriots offense still has Wes Welker at wideout and Stephen Ridley at running back ,but the jets did a nice job against them ast time they met. If the Jets double Wes and contain him, Tom Brady will have a tough time Thursday night.
I think the Gronkowski injury is a message from the football gods. They are giving the Jets a chance at the final wild card spot with no Gronkowski, and then five games against poor teams after thursday night. Rex and company need to seize their opportunity on Thursday night.
