The Good Guy Award is given to a football player for his professionalism in helping pro football writers do their jobs. The award was given for the first time by the Pro Football Writers of America in 2005. Many will say Tim won it because of the way he handled the media last season, and that is probably true. When he led the Broncos to an improbable playoff run he became one of the biggest names in sports.
When traded to the Jets in March, Tebow was a little to involved in the media and now he has seemed to step back, as requested by Teddi Bruschi. And as we all know, it isn't going to get any easier for him in New York. The introductory to the Jets drew more than 200 media types at the conference.
