Mike Tannenbaum's era as general manager should be over, as he failed horribly to put together talent for this season's roster. If you just look at the wide receivers we have, the fact that we had to sign Braylon Edwards this late in the season, and the fact that Mardy Gilyard was the guy we tried to plug in. We need to bring in someone with a fresh outlook, who can fix the quarterback position and bring the Jets back to the top of things in the AFC.
The Jets offense was a joke to watch this season and one guy to blame is Tony Sparano. His play calling was as vanilla as can be, and the way he tried to use Tebow as awful. The butt fumble is just an example of a play that got messed up, something that would not of happened if someone was actually leading the offense. In tennessee he ran the ball 11 less times than he threw it! If I was the Jets, I would look at a guy like Norv Turner who can run an exiting offense.
First off, Mark Sanchez is damaged goods. His head is so screwed up, I would hate to see him on the field once more for the Jets. While his salary is massive and that means no one will take him, you have to find a way to get rid of him. whether you eat some of the salary in a trade or buy him our, Sanchez can not be on the roster next season. Everyone knows Tebow will be let go and you know all the reasons.
