Just back in 2011, Winslow caught 75 passes for over 750 yards for Tampa Bay. Last season after not being happy with New England, he was released and not picked up by a team. The 6'4 tight end has always been a star when healthy and on the field, but that is a big key. This move will give Mark Sanchez or Geno Smith a great target on third down's and in the red zone.
Right now if healthy, Winslow is the starting tight end for the Jets. For a low salary, John Idzik found a guy who could be a potential stud for the Jets. From all eyes he looked great in tryouts and according to him, he is healthy. This move could of been John Idzik's best move so far as general manager of the Jets.
