The Pats are going to play without TE's Rob gronkowski and rookie Zach Sudfeld. The pats will also play without RB Shane Vereen who had the most rushing yards in the NFL for Running back's in week one with 105. And newly acquired WR Danny Amendola who has had several injuries in his career is also out tonight. Former Jets rB Leon Washington will start for the patriots at RB and Kick Returner.
The jets are going to play their second straight game without their pass Rusher Quinton Coples who should be back week 3. The jets will also be missing Mark Sanchez who is out for the Season with a torn Labrum in his throwing shoulder. WR jeremy Kerley who got nailed by the Bucs Safety Dashon Goldson last week is also out with a concussion.
I think the jets could really steal a game from the pat's here but in the end the pat have some guy named Tom Brady who could make anyone look good. It starts with getting to brady on the defensive side of the ball and the jets are going to need sacks. on offense the jets are going to have to run the ball effectively something they didn't do last week. Geno Just can't make rookie mistakes tonight. In big games not including Bowl Games Geno Smith played bad in college. In his senior year he started the season off 5-0 and it looked like he was going to win the heismen trophy, then he lost the next five games to Texas Tech 49-14, Kansas State 55-14, TCU 39-38 (Double OT), Oklahoma State 55-34, and Oklahoma 50-49. Given his defense played bad he struggled during that stretch. in 2011 he lost to LSU, Syracuse, and Louisville, all big games that season. In 2010 LSU, Syracuse, and Connecticut, and in his freshmen season he lost to Auburn, South Florida, Cincinnati, and Florida State. He played bad in big games throughout his collegiate Career and this is the biggest game of his life tonight.
In the end its Tom brady and the Patriots who will be the victors. The jets will hopefully show me wrong like they did last week in a miracle win. I have the patriots winning 21-17.
