After missing a few games, the Jets were so happy to finally get their best receiver back. Kerley finished the day with 4 catches for 41 yards, and saved Geno Smith with an incredible leaping grab for a touchdown. The Jets improved to 6-3 with Jeremy Kerley in their lineup, while they are 0-4 without him. He is the Jets catch leader and receiving yards leader.
2) Geno Smith
A week after getting benched, Geno Smith responded. The rookie made an early mistake with an interception, but after that he was terrific. He ended the day 16/25, with 219 yards, 1 touchdown threw the air, and the interception. He also rushed for 50 yards and a nice touchdown run. I was very impressed with how Geno responded to all the hate he has received as of late.
3) Chris Ivory
Over the past month the Jets offensive MVP has been Chris Ivory. The guy has been a beast, breaking tackles left and right. He finished the game with 76 yards on 18 carries, including an amazing 15 yard touchdown run. Ivory also helped in the passing game, giving Geno a huge block on Oakland linebacker Sio Moore.
