First the Jets signed former Browns receiver/returner Josh Cribbs. Cribbs was prolific not to long ago, as he has made it to three Pro Bowl's and is tied for the all-time kick return touchdown record. The next move the Jets made was signing Wideout Greg Salas to the active roster off of the Eagles practice squad. Salas was a fourth round pick back in 2011 and has had 27 career receptions. A very underrated move by Idzik was signing former Stony Brook Running back Miguel Maysonet to the practice squad. Maysonet had a possibility of being drafted, but after being undrafted has bounced around. He has a lot of talent and should be on the active roster in no-time.
All three of these players are guys who can make a difference for the Jets. Cribbs solves a problem with the return game, gives you a guy who can run the wildcat, and is a just a good deep threat for Geno. Salas is a nice slot guy and has good hands. Maysonet one day could turn out to be a steal if the Jets develop him right.
